What types of websites do you design?

We specialize in designing elegant, romantic, and timeless websites for wedding professionals. If you're in the wedding industry, whether you're a planner, photographer, bridal boutique, florist, wedding venue, baker or makeup artiste (or any other profession helping couples have the best day) we'd love to work with you.

What platform do you use for website design?

We design websites on Showit, a highly customizable, drag-and-drop platform perfect for anyone who wants a stunning, easy-to-manage website that sets them apart from those using a less sophisticated platform.

Do I need to know how to code?

Not at all! Showit allows you to make updates without coding knowledge, and we provide a guide so you feel confident managing your site after launch.

Do you offer ongoing support?

We include one month of post-launch support to answer any questions. After that, we offer optional VIP support packages for ongoing updates and maintenance. But most clients will not need these as Showit is easy to use.

How long would it take to design my website?

Once we have gathered all the required elements (images, copy, etc) from/with you, our streamlined design process takes two weeks from the scheduled start date. This includes a mini-branding session to ensure your site aligns perfectly with your business.

What would I need to provide before we start?

To ensure a smooth process, we need:
 
  • Any existing brand guidelines you'd like us to follow (logo, colors, fonts etc)
  • Professional photosWebsite copy (if you don't want us to provide copywriting services)
  • Details about your services, packages, and testimonials

Do you offer branding services?

We include a mini-branding session with every project to review your brand's visuals. If you need a complete brand refresh, we can recommend trusted branding professionals.

How much do your web design services cost?

We offer three levels of website design to suit different needs:

Template Customization: From $1,575 USD
Custom 7 - 8 Page Website: From $3,375 USD (+$1,225 USD if adding a blog)
Advanced Website Design: From $5,125

The "starting from" prices are the final prices for most projects. But if you would like us to write the copy for your website or you have unusual requirements such as a complicated interface that wedding professionals don't typically use, there will be an additional charge depending on the work involved.

Do you offer payment plans?

50% is due upfront to reserve your spot, and the remaining 50% is due on the final day of the project.

Are there any other costs I should budget for?

Yes, in addition to our design fee, you’ll need to budget for:

Showit subscription which includes hosting (pricing varies based on features - currently between $24 USD and $39 USD paid monthly or $228 USD and $408 USD paid annually)
Domain name (typically around $15/year)
Images / professional photography
Copywriting (if arranging yourself)
Full branding services (if you want a complete business overhaul rather than a mini-branding)

Will I be able to edit my website after it’s launched?

Yes! Showit is an intuitive platform, and we provide training so you can confidently make updates to your website.

Can you help with SEO?

Yes! Your website will be designed with SEO best practices, including proper heading structure, keyword optimization, and alt text for images. If you need ongoing SEO services, we can recommend SEO experts.

Can I transfer my current website to Showit?

Yes, but the approach depends on your current platform. If you’re using WordPress, some elements can be migrated, while others may need to be redesigned. We’ll review your current site and advise on the best approach.

Will my site be mobile-friendly?

Absolutely! Every site we design is fully responsive and looks beautiful on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. It's one of the benefits of Showit that it allows us to create a design specifically for different devices.

Can I integrate a blog into my Showit website?

Yes! Showit integrates seamlessly with WordPress for blogging. If you would like a blog, we can add and design one for your site for an additional $1,225 USD.

Can I add an online shop to my website?

Yes! Showit integrates with platforms like Shopify Lite and Thrivecart for simple e-commerce solutions. If you need a full-fledged online shop, we can discuss your needs.

I see you provide copy. What happens if I don’t need it?

If you already have copy, we'll still talk you through our guided copy questionnaire as the answers to the questions there are also important for the design process. We'll also review your copy to ensure it's going to be effective for your site, suggesting any tweaks we think it needs.

Can you work with my current branding? I don’t want to change it.

If you already have branding you love, we'll review it with your ideal clients in mind and discuss with you any suggestions we think would elevate your website and lead to more client bookings. But no, we won’t make you change it! We are not the branding police.

How do you select the images that will go on my site?

A set of beautiful images in a similar mood or tone is a huge help in elevating your brand. If you're a photographer, you’re likely to have plenty of images to choose from and we’ll ask for around 100 to select from for a typical site. We'll simply work on presenting the images you provide in a way that draws in your ideal clients. If you're not a professional photographer, we'll help guide your choices from the images you have to work with and may suggest (and help source) additional images to make your site "pop!"
